Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Hearts, Le ballet des Coeurs, the songs of Edith Piaf (ballet). Group of original set design artwork, notes and other papers. 8 pieces original artwork, various mediums including gouache, collage, gold ink. Rope Street Drop, City / Street Rope Drop, Show Curtain, Urn Unit front and back, Tree / Pedestal Unit front and back, Street Drop. All mounted on foam core board except street drop on illustration board. Curtain 19 1/2" x 21 1/4". With a printed scene-by-scene layout and 6 negative versions, 16 sepia ink on tracing paper sketches with photocopies of the same images, and 2 folders containing additional sketches and copies, handwritten and typed notes, copies and other papers related to the production.
