A mid-20th century General Electric Type SSW television studio camera. The unit features a metal housing finished in grey and blue paint with a stylized white NBC logo on the side panels. It is equipped with a rotating four-lens turret and is mounted on an adjustable black and chrome tripod. An identification plate on the unit specifies it as Type SSW with serial number 1285, originating from Los Angeles, California. The interior housing reveals an array of period electronics, including vacuum tubes such as types 6AL5, 6AQ5, and 12BH7, alongside Mallory capacitors and manual adjustment dials for parameters including height, linearity, and centering.

The camera and tripod exhibit surface wear, scratches, and minor paint splatters consistent with age and professional studio use. Some oxidation and pitting are visible on the chrome and metal surfaces. Internal components appear to be in original configuration but are untested for functionality.
