Description
Unassembled retail floor display for “The Beatles Collection” trading card series, produced by The River Group in 1993. The display is constructed from heavy printed cardboard and is designed to be assembled into a life-size replica of a classic red British telephone booth. The set includes large-scale panels depicting the band members wearing their iconic early-era blue suits. Accompanying components include the main booth structure, a red tiered display tray designed to hold card packs, multiple circular “The Beatles Collection” logo headers, a promotional banner featuring the slogan “Got To Get Them Into Your Life!”, and the original printed assembly instruction sheet. Also included in this lot are six factory-sealed boxes of “The Beatles Collection” trading cards. The entire collection is housed in its original corrugated shipping carton, which is marked with the product name and identification numbers #10223 and 51314-10223. Last photo shows assembled result. Shipping carton 48 1/2″ H x 18 1/2″ W x 4 1/2″ D.
Condition report:
The container is in fair vintage condition with significant evidence of use and age consistent with its function as a shipping vessel. Condition issues include surface abrasions, edge crushing, punctures, and several tears to the cardboard. Remnants of original brown packing tape and adhesive labels are present.
