Description
Middle Eastern curved Jambiya dagger with embossed metal scabbard. The hilt is constructed of dark wood and is fitted with metal bolsters and a pommel cap. The scabbard is composed of metal over a wooden core and features repoussé and chased scrollwork throughout. 15 1/2" L (unsheathed), 16 1/2" L (sheathed).

Condition report:
The steel blade exhibits significant surface oxidation, active rust, and pitting on both sides. Visible sharpening wear and minor nicks are present along the edge. The wooden hilt shows light surface wear. The silver-toned metal components on both the hilt and scabbard show age-appropriate tarnish, but the decorative details remain largely crisp and intact.
