Offset lithograph exhibition poster on linen backing featuring Andy Warhol’s 1964 portrait of Marilyn Monroe. Produced for the Warhol retrospective exhibition at the Palazzo Grassi in Venice, Italy in 1990. Printed in Como, Italy. The work is unframed and remains unstretched. 40 1/2 x 29 inches.
Condition report:
There is visible fraying and loose threads along the top and bottom edges of the canvas support. The image field shows minor handling creases, small surface scuffs, and faint marks consistent with age. The piece is unstretched and unframed.
