Description
Collection of 5 antique leaded stained glass window panels depicting Gothic and Renaissance Revival scenes. The panels are constructed with lead cames and colored and painted glass. The assortment is housed in a plywood transport crate. Each panel has not been individually inspected or removed from the crate in order to prevent further breakage and damage. The lot exhibits significant structural damage, including numerous shattered, cracked, and missing glass sections. Suitable for restoration or salvage. Crate 7 1/4″ H x 49 1/2″ L x 18 3/4″ D.
Condition report:
Poor, fragmentary condition. Significant cracking to the glass panes and lead fatigue throughout, including numerous shattered, cracked, and missing glass sections. A large section of glass is missing from the central knight panel. Blue painter\'s tape is adhered to the glass of several panels. Suitable for restoration or salvage.
