Please complete the consign with us form and provide a brief description of the items you would like to consign along with some photos. If your items are suitable for auction, you will be contacted by a consignment coordinator to discuss the next steps. Click here to fill out our consignment form.
Delivering your objects to our gallery is seamless. Willow works with All Wrapped Up, a licensed and insured moving company, which has years of experience working for auction houses, galleries, and museums. Your consignment will be tagged , inventoried, packed and moved to our gallery. You will receive an itemized inventory of all the objects that you have consigned.
INVENTORY & ESTIMATES
At Willow Auction House, your consignment will be photographed, catalogued, and estimated. You will receive an advice of sale before the auction as well as the description and the estimate. Our reserves and starting bids are half the low estimate.
Auctions are listed on the most popular auction platforms for a minimum of 3 weeks before the live auction. Auction platforms include: Liveauctioneers, Invaluable, Bidsquare, and Hibid. Auctions are also advertised on various websites, newsletters, and search engines. We also accept bids through our website, over the phone and by absentee bid. Potential buyers can enquire about lots and schedule private previews of auction items.
Newsletters are sent to several thousand subscribers, dealers, designers and private collectors.
Auctions and individuals lots are actively posted on social media platforms using keywords and hashtags. The use of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube attract more attention and bidders.
REPORTING & SETTLEMENT
A few days after the auction, preliminary auction results will be emailed to consignors. Settlement reports and checks are promptly sent within 35 Business days after each auction.
Each lot is offered in a minimum of two auctions. If a lot remains unsold, you will have these options to choose from: picking up unsold lots, scheduling a return delivery, or we can donate your unsold items on your behalf. We will furnish you with photos and donation slips for tax purposes.
