Two Louis XV style giltwood fauteils or armchairs. Both with shield-form backs and cabriole legs, each topped with motif carvings; one scallop, the other floral. Upholstery of scallop chair is covered with vinyl which is torn on its seat. Tears and staining to exposed upholstery of seat. Separation of right arm from back on scallop chair. Losses and chips to gilt and throughout both chairs, especially on legs and feet. Separations to wood on arms of floral motif chair. Construction of floral motif chair is very fragile. Floral motif chair: 43" H x 25" L x 21" W. Seat height 17", arm height 24". Scallop motif chair: 39" H x 26" L x 20" W. Seat height 19", arm height 24 1/2".
