Louis XVI style salon settee. Carved and gilt arms, frame, apron, and reeded legs with original needlepoint upholstery. Staining, mold and heavy wear and dirt throughout upholstery of seat and back. Stuffing and cushioning is completely exposed on underside of seating. Splitting to wood on arms and frame of back of settee. Losses to gilt and gesso throughout carved wood of settee, especially on legs. Entire settee is warped and recedes back, with front feet leaning back on an angle. 38 1/4" H x 63 1/2" L x 19 1/2" D. Seat height 16", arm height 23 1/2".
