After Jean-Jacques Bachelier (French, 1724-1805). Circa late 18th century. Bisque porcelain figure of "Cupid Disarmed by a Vestal". Sevres mark on back of sculpture behind vestal and column. Signed "P. Bachelier" on base on front. Repairs to vestal’s head and Cupid’s torso. Arrows in quiver and Cupid’s right arm and wing has been replaced. Chips and losses to object in vestal’s left hand. Chips to porcelain throughout circumference of bottom of base. 12" H x 6 1/2" diameter of base
