Renaissance Revival drop front secretary. German, Mid 19th Century. Ornately carved mahogany figural supports of Old Testament figures, flanking cherub motifs, floral and grotesque carvings. Front drops for writing surface and reveals a shelf with six envelope partitions. Brass lock and hinges were added later. Wear consistent with age. 44 1/2" H x 34" L x 16" D
