Two Mid Century Modern end tables designed by George Nelson (Hartford, CT, 1908-1986) for Herman Miller. 20th century. No apparent brand marks, tags or labels present. Walnut tops with chrome legs and stretcher, the larger table with a fitted marble top. Scratches, scuffs, staining, marks and wear throughout wood of both tables. Tarnishing, wear, and rusting throughout chrome of both tables. Small chips and losses to veneer on two corners of smaller table. Scratches, scuffs and marks to top and edges of marble.
Marble topped table: 32 1/8" W x 18 1/8" D x 22 7/8" H. Smaller table: 30 1/8" W x 18" D x 18 3/8" H. 89 lbs.
