Pair of Meissen candelabra. Porcelain with gilt metal 4 light candelabra tops. Cherubs atop dolphins, with shell motif base. Both signed with Meissen Marcolini period blue crossed swords with stars below marks to the underside. Each 31 1/4"H including center candle holder (porcelain 14"H x 12 5/8"W).
Chips to flowers on bases of both, item in cherub’s hands chipped and missing from both, both with chips along the edges of the base; one with repairs and lines throughout dolphin’s rear fin; other with lines and repairs to the base, chip to the underside, chip to shell, chips to dolphin’s rear fin; wax residue to candle covers on both, both with losses to gilt painting on candelabra.
