4 hand painted miniatures, portraits of gentlemen. Mughal man, 1 7/8" x 1 3/8" (with frame 2" x 1/2"); gentleman in profile, 1 3/8" x 1 (2 1/2" x 2"); man with red collar 2" x 1 5/8" (2 1/8" x 1 3/4"); portrait of Chalmers, signed V and dated 1792, with partially illegible labels on verso, 2 3/8" x 2" (2 5/8" x 2 1/4").
Mughal miniature missing back of frame, paint loss along left side of profile portrait, Chalmers portrait glass loose and losses to cobalt enamel on frame.
