Joachim Probst (American, 1913-1980). Oil on canvas, Motif, from the Campbell Series, # 36A. Signed and numbered 36A on the stretcher and signed, titled and dated 1972 on verso. With PB Eighty-Four (Sotheby Parke-Bernet) labels, sale 750A. 17" x 17" (with frame 24 1/4" x 24"). Crack to paint at center and cracks and crazing throughout; chips and losses to frame, PB Eighty Four label stuck to left side of frame.
