Arabian Nights Entertainments, 13 volume set, translated into English by John Payne, 1884, London. Including The Book of the Thousand Nights and One Night, in 9 volumes; Tales From the Arabic, in 3 volumes; and Aladdin and the Enchanted Lamp, in 1 volume. All cream boards with gilt lettering and decoration, deckle edge pages, most with Papen bookplates on the front pastedowns, some uncut pages. All with staining, scratches and discoloration to the covers and spines, some toning and foxing to the pages, corners bumped and spines dented and fraying on all, warping to covers.
