Pierre Francois Tardieu (French, 1711-1771). Hand colored engraved map, St. Petersbourg. Engraving by Tardieu, Ecrit par Dubuisson. With legend along right side. Circa mid / late 18th century. Unframed. Sheet 19 3/4" x 30 3/4". With 2 original vertical folds. Stored rolled, with some foxing to the margins and into map, toning to sheet, smudging visible in the margins, creases to the corners and along edges, small tear at bottom of left fold, small tear to lower margin near left fold, tear to left margin, minor losses to color along folds. Provenance: Estate of Princess Maria "Mimi" Romanoff.
