Matthaus Seutter (German, 1678-1757). Map of Sicily, Mappa Geographica totius Insulae et Regni Siciliae. Hand colored engraving, double page with center seam. Circa mid-1700s. 19 3/4" x 23" (with frame 25 3/4" x 28 3/4"). Foxing and discoloration to paper throughout, waviness to paper, some separation at center crease; crack to glass lower right. Provenance: Estate of Princess Maria "Mimi" Romanoff.
