Arthur Bowen Davies (American, 1862-1928). Oil on canvas, nude. Artist initialed ABD lower left. With Christie’s stamp, "From the Dr. Davies Collection", and an additional partially illegible stamp dated X/15/1936 on verso. 10 3/4" x 7 3/4" (with frame 15 3/4" x 12 3/4"). Crazing throughout, inpainting throughout, relined; chips and losses to frame. Provenance: Estate of Princess Maria "Mimi" Romanoff.
