Leaded slag glass hanging light fixture, with Tiffany slag glass pieces. From Maxwell’s Plum restaurant in New York City. 17 1/4"H x 24"-diameter. Cracks and repairs to glass throughout, leading cracked and with missing and loose glass along the rim on one side and at the top. Maxwell’s Plum was a bar-restaurant at 1181 First Avenue in New York City. Originally opened in 1966, Maxwell’s Plum was owned by Warner LeRoy, son of Hollywood producer Mervyn LeRoy. The restaurant closed in 1988. This lamp is from the collection of Warner LeRoy’s daughter, Bridget LeRoy.
