New Year Uncurated January Estate Finds
Lot 186:
Vera Tischler (American, 1900-1989) for Rookwood Pottery. Vellum glaze plate / shallow bowl with floral decoration. Tischler VT mark, Rookwood flame mark dated XXIII (1923), incised V, numbered 257 2D and with an X on the underside. 10 1/2"-diameter. Crazing throughout, popped bubbles to surface of plate, imperfections and apparent repair to the rim.
