Description
This lot features two original 5 1/2-inch scale action figures from Mattel’s iconic Masters of the Universe line, both produced in 1984. The first figure is Mantenna from The Evil Horde sub-line (product no. 9168), featuring a mechanical lever to make the eyes pop out. This figure was manufactured in Mexico. The second figure is Sy-Klone (product no. 7997), characterized as the Heroic fist-flinging tornado, featuring a 360-degree spinning torso mechanism and an animated radar screen on the chest. This figure was manufactured in Hong Kong. Both figures are constructed of molded plastic and vinyl and remain secured to their original illustrated cardboard blister cards, which include the respective mini-comics behind the figures. Measurements: 12 1/2 inches x 7 inches.
Condition: Both items are in their original, factory-sealed packaging. The Mantenna card is punched and exhibits visible creasing, edge wear, and a dented plastic blister bubble; a vintage OSCO retail price sticker is present on the upper right. The Sy-Klone card is unpunched but shows significant cracking and splitting at the base of the plastic blister, along with general shelf wear and blunting to the card corners. Figures and internal accessories appear complete and in original condition.

Condition report:
Both items show signs of age and play wear. The Wargon set is noted as incomplete; a handwritten label on the box front indicates it is missing parts, specifically one of the three robots and the missiles. The Togor set appears more complete with unapplied stickers and missiles on the sprue, though the motorized mechanism is untested. The original boxes exhibit significant shelf wear, including creasing, edge tears, corner blunting, and various vintage retail price stickers. Internal styrofoam trays are present but show some staining and wear.
