Description
Ben Goodkin (American, 20th Century). Mid-Century Modern stylized figurative sculpture with two elongated figures joining hands. The figures are rendered in a textured composite material with a variegated painted finish in ochre and blue tones. Signed on the side of the wooden base Ben Goodkin 1964. 31 1/2″ H x 15″ W x 7″ D.
Condition report:
The sculpture displays a visible repair with material loss and exposed adhesive at the elbow joint of one figure. General surface wear, minor paint loss, and scuffing are present, consistent with the age and nature of the composite material.
