Description
Collection of 39 vintage novelty and miniature folding knives along with one small black-finished metal paperweight. The lot features an eclectic range of thematic designs popular in the mid-to-late 20th century, including weaponry, promotional items, and figural souvenirs. Weapon-themed items include knives shaped like a green plastic rifle, a black-handled revolver, and several brass-toned revolvers on keychains. Novelty objects include folders disguised as a cigarette, a lipstick tube, a wooden folding ruler, an umbrella, and a corn cob. Promotional items are highlighted by a red shotgun shell-style folder marked William Evans in gold script on the handle and Stainless Italy on the blade tang, accompanied by a similar yellow shotgun shell folder. Figural and souvenir knives include an Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian sarcophagus, a human leg and foot, a snail with a carved-style shell, a bird with painted details, and a German figural knife depicting the Ganseliesel (Goose Girl). Notable miniatures include a high-quality folder with a green composite handle etched with P. Easler on the blade, a bowling pin knife printed with Souvenir of Honeoye Lake, N.Y., and a miniature etched Jaguar. Largest knife 3" L (closed), 7 3/4" L (open).

Condition report:
Several older pieces, most notably the bird-shaped and ruler knives, exhibit significant surface oxidation, pitting, and rust on the blades. Other items remain in bright and clean condition. Most pieces show minimal evidence of sharpening wear, suggesting use primarily as novelty or collector items rather than utility tools.
