Description
A low table featuring a dark brown marble top with a serpentine edge and white veining. The wooden base is decorated with carved shell, floral, and foliate motifs across the apron and legs. It is finished in a distressed cream-colored paint with parcel-gilt accents. The table stands on four cabriole legs terminating in scrolled feet. A single full-length drawer is integrated into the apron, featuring dovetail construction and a carved shell-motif escutcheon with a central keyhole. No maker marks or labels are present. 32″ H x 45″ W x 25″ D. This lot is located offsite in Rumson, New Jersey and will be available for PICKUP ONLY. Condition report:
The piece is in good vintage condition. The painted and gilded finish is intentionally distressed, with additional surface wear, small paint chips, and rubbing consistent with age and use. The marble top is intact with natural veining and light surface scratches. No key is present for the drawer lock.
