Two framed black and white photographs featuring candid, behind-the-scenes moments from the production of Jaws (Universal, 1975). The set includes one vertical photograph depicting Roy Scheider as Chief Martin Brody and Lorraine Gary as Ellen Brody with Chris Rebello as Michael Brody on a boardwalk filming location on Martha’s Vineyard. The second horizontal photograph shows Peter Benchley in conversation with Robert Shaw as Quint, wearing his character’s signature cap aboard a production vessel. Unsigned. 10 3/8" H x 8 3/8" W x 3/4" D.
From the personal collection of Peter Benchley (American, 1940–2006), acclaimed author of Jaws, accomplished diver, and prominent advocate for ocean and shark conservation.
Condition report:
The photographs are in excellent condition with sharp focus and good contrast. The silver-tone metal frames exhibit minor shelf wear and light surface scuffing consistent with handling.
