Description
Alfred Dunhill Amber Root briar tobacco pipe in unsmoked condition. The pipe features a bent billiard-style form, characterized by a high-polish finish and a distinct grain pattern that transitions from bird’s-eye on the rim to straight grain along the bowl and shank. The curved stem is constructed of black vulcanite and includes the signature white spot inlay. The pipe is housed in a black leather drawstring pouch embossed with the maker’s logo, which is contained within a black presentation box featuring gold-tone decorative borders. The shank is marked with an oval logo containing the word dunhill, as well as XL and DR 2S. The opposite side of the shank is stamped AMBERFLAME over MADE IN ENGLAND 91. 3" H x 8 1/4" L x 4" W.

Condition report:
The pipe is in mint, unsmoked condition with no visible charring, tooth marks, or oxidation to the stem. The briar finish is bright and free of scratches or dings. The presentation box shows minor shelf wear at the corners but remains structurally sound. The leather pouch and care pamphlet are well-preserved.
