Description
Alfred Dunhill bent acorn or horn-shaped pipe from the Collector series. The pipe features a smooth, polished Root Briar finish with a natural, craggy plateau rim on the bowl. The black vulcanite stem is inlaid with the signature white spot. Construction includes a hand-finished briar bowl and a bent stem. The underside of the shank is marked with an XL and an oval containing a white bar logo above the word dunhill. The opposite side is stamped COLLECTOR ROOT BRIAR MADE IN ENGLAND followed by a small number 2. The pipe is accompanied by a black leather-wrapped presentation box with gold-tone detailing and cream satin lining, an orange and cream paper label on the side, a black leather drawstring pouch, a guarantee brochure, and a fellowship invitation pamphlet. 3" H x 8 1/4" L x 4" W.

Condition report:
The pipe is in excellent, unsmoked condition. The exterior briar shows light surface wear and minor handling marks. The vulcanite stem displays minimal oxidation and very light tooth chatter. The presentation box and accompanying paperwork are well-preserved with minor shelf wear to the box exterior.
