14 pieces Royal Bayreuth porcelain with devil and playing cards motif. 2 pitchers, creamer, mug and nappy with blue Royal Bayreuth Bavaria Priv. 1794 marks; 2 smaller creamers with green Royal Bayreuth Bavaria marks, unmarked salt & pepper; limited edition pitcher and 4 mugs with later blue mark, marked "Reproduction of old Royal Bayreuth Masterpieces, originally 1905", mugs numbered 566, 563, 587 and 567 out of 2000, pitcher 452/1000.
Green mark creamers: crazing to devil’s head on smaller, paint loss to devil’s back, foot and head on larger; salt & pepper: paint loss to both devils, one wing tip chipped and repaired, flakes to bottom corners of 1; blue mark: chips and roughness to nappy on underside and flakes on rim, minor paint loss to devil on nappy, chip to rim of creamer and paint loss to club near devil’s hand, some paint loss and scratches to Queen on mug, minor paint loss to devil on mug, 1 pitcher small repair on devil’s back, 1 pitcher paint loss to devil’s face and body and both devil horns chipped, area near devil’s hands on 1 pitcher repainted.
