Seven American Classical mahogany dining chairs, consisting of a set of three and a set of four. Early 19th century with later 20th century upholstery, one chair with caned seat. Klismos form chairs with heavily carved splats and saber legs. "Scott Service Manhattan NY " labels on undersides of four chairs. Paper label with illegible description nailed into seat frame of one chair. All as is, with heavy wear, scuffs, scratches, and marks throughout mahogany of all chairs. Tears, fraying, staining, and losses to upholstery of all chairs. Damage and losses to caning on seat of one chair. Split and crack to wood on back post of one chair. Damage and loss to leg and seat of one chair. Leg is broken and separated but present. Seating of one chair is supported by plywood board.
18 1/8" W x 19 7/8" D x 32 1/2" H. 77 lbs total.
