English Arts and Crafts tiered side table. Early 20th century. Back support in carved bird head finial, carved feet, door decorated with image of monks drinking beer and wine. Top tier of table is carved with motif of grapes and vines with inscription " FILL UP THE BUMPER AIR, FOR EVERY DROP WE SPRINKLE, OER THE BROW OF CARE, SMOOTH’S AWAY A WRINKLE." Chips and losses to wood on carved feet of table. Nicks, scuffs, and losses to wood on edges of posts supporting top tier. Scratches and marks to wood on scene of drinking friars. Hanging finial missing from right post on table. Repairs to back post of table where top of lower tier meets post.
