Benjamin Disraeli, First Earl of Beaconsfield (England, 1804-1881). Endymion, in 3 volumes. First edition, 1880. Published London: Longmans, Green, and Co., printed by Spottiswoode and Co., New-Street Square and Parliament Square, London. Bound by T. Gates Darton & Co. London label volume I. 4 3/4" x 7 3/4".
Wear, discoloration and staining to boards; corners of boards bent, shelf wear, creases to tops and bottoms of spines, some foxing, binding separating volume II, numerical notation in pencil on first pages of text.
Together with a copy of The Earl of Beaconsfield, K.G., Keys to the Famous Characters Delineated in His Historical Romances, with Portraits and Biographies, Supplemented by a Critical Appreciation of Lord Beaconsfield by Dr. H. Pereira Mendes; published by M. Walter Dunne, New York & London, 1904. Corners bumped, pages separating from binding, front endpaper separated, some staining and discoloration to covers.
