Binding loose, notations in pencil front endpaper and pastedown, corners bumped and fraying, some separation at front pastedown.
The Well-Beloved. A Sketch of a Temperament. First edition, 1897. Osgood, McIlvaine and Co., London; printed by Ballantyne, Hanson & Co., Edinburgh and London. Half title page Thomas Hardy’s Works, The Wessex Novels Volume XVII. Stanley J. Keyes bookplate front pastedown, ex-libris. Binding loose, corners bumped and fraying, some fraying to top of spine, some separation at front pastedown.
