Corners bumped, some wear to edges and spine, notations in pencil on front pastedown and half title page, tears to plastic dust jacket. Provenance: George S. MacManus Company, Philadelphia, 2/4/1980; private collection, New York City; thence by descent.
Dreamers of the Ghetto. First edition, 1898. William Heinemann, London. Wear to spine, edges and corners, some fraying to spine, corners bumped, notations in pencil and ink on front pastedown and endpapers. Provenance: Ximenes Rare Books, New York, 5/11/1982; private collection, New York City; thence by descent.
Children of the Ghetto, in 3 volumes. First edition, 1892. William Heinemann, London; printed by Billing and Sons, London. Writing in ink front pastedowns, losses to leather on spines, wear to edges and corners, front board partially detached volume 1, half title page detached from binding volume 1, leather separating from spine volume 1, front board partially detached volume 3, foxing throughout. Provenance: Ximenes Rare Books, New York, 5/11/1982; private collection, New York City; thence by descent.
