August Summer Estate Finds
Lot 22:
2 Grand United Order of Oddfellows Membership Ribbons produced by WILLIAM H. HORSTMANN & SONS, Manufacturers of Dress Trimmings and Military Goods. Consists of blue, black and orange ribbons printed "In Memoriam" "Covenant Lodge No. 895 G.U.O. of O.F. Philadelphia, Organized July 36th, 1847" and has a shaking hands motif. Features American and British flags with Oddfellow Coat of Arms pins and Seeing Eye Attached. Both ribbons are slightly tattered and have wear and rust on the metal consistent with age. 3" L x 9.5" H. 2 Independent Order of Oddfellows Membership Ribbons. Front of Ribbon is held and supported by a clasp featuring IO OF and the Seeing Eye. Black ribbon features In Memoriam with shaking hands motif, and the red ribbon holds a white ribbon with two crossed American Flags and an Independent Order of Oddfellows pin. Both ribbons were cut in the middle and are not complete. 3" L x 5" H.
