Pair of lustrous mother of pearl and abalone card cases, 4" x 3 1/8". Hand Painted card case with a castle nightscape with gilt flourishes and gemstones border, on the other side a painting of church ruins with gilt flourish border. Wear from age, chipping of paint. 4" x 3 1/8". 2 daguerreotype portraits in case, one of a woman and one of the same woman and a male. Pressed metal border around both photos. Line in the wooden top cover. 2 1/2" x 3".
