A Tibetan short sword and sheath. 18th or 19th century. Broad single-edged blade, pommel pierced with an openwork design, grip bound with plaited silver wire, wooden scabbard with engraved metal mounts. Hide band around the sheath. 12" L Sheath. 14 3/4" L x 1 1/4" W Short sword and hilt.
