World War I French bayonet. French, Early 20th Century. Steel rod scabbard with black lacquer, four-edged blade. Marked with two P’s within circles on hilt, blade is marked with B in a diamond. Hilt stamped with serial number 54717. Hilt is rusted, wear to scabbard and pommel. 26" L
