5 Japanese earthenware platters. Japan, 18th, 19th Century. 5 glazed pieces fired in a kiln, indentations from stacking the pieces in the kiln can be seen on all. Piece of interest includes a platter with painted spirals and blue Kanji characters. Wear and crazing throughout all pieces. Slight chipping to edge of one bowl. Cracked line on rim of kanji and spiral dish, cracked line on one of indented dishes. Largest platter measures 2 1/2" H x 14 1/2" diameter
