Lot 120:
Two Chinese Ming Style carved horseshoe chairs. Chinese, Mid to Late 19th Century/ Early 20th Century. Horseshoe form, concentric and rectangular chair supports on either chair, ornately carved splats depicting figural Imperial courtier scenes, extensive fretwork along both seats. Splats and supports of both chairs previously repaired. Heavy wear to seats, loss to lower carving on splat, cracking and loss to curved head rest. Right back fretwork of one chair previously repaired.
