Two Spanish Renaissance style chairs in a Savonarola form. Spain, Late 18th/19th Century. Ornately carved "U" form with wide arms terminating in carved avian heads, green man and gargoyle grotesque motifs on back splat and front. Arms and back splat on one chair were previously repaired and glued. Cracking and wear to both seats. Wear to stretchers on each.
