Regency brass inlaid and rosewood lap desk , c.1800 England. Brass stag inlay on the lid, reminiscent of George Bullock. Double hinged 2 compartment box. Opens to felt writing surface with storage compartment underneath. 2 brass handles, left side handle is frozen. Key hole hardware missing. Front panel inlay loose. Indentation to back and sides of the box.
