John Edgar Hoover (Washington DC, 1895-1972). One letter to Judge Edwin L. Garvin (New York, 1877-1960) and one letter to W. Coverly Fischer (American, 20th Century). Two letters on Federal Bureau of Investigation Letterhead from 1937. One is 9" x 6 1/2" and open up to 9" x 13". The response to this letter is typed onto the letter itself. There is an American eagle watermark on the paper. The second letter is 9 1/2" x 7" and has an American eagle watermark. Both letters have numerous folds and creases on them. Both letters have been authenticated by PSA/DNA and come with the Letters of Authenticity. From the estate of Judge Edwin L. Garvin.
