William Robert Smily (England, 1800s). Sterling silver teapot with repousse and chased floral and scroll decoration throughout and applied sterling floral finial. Engraved on one side "A token of respect from a few members of the Exeter Oratorio Society to their Chorus Master Mr. T.P. Turner Feby 1851". Underside and inside of lid with English sterling hallmarks and WRS maker’s marks, London, circa 1845. Floral finial with hallmarks and BS maker’s mark. 757 grams (including bands in handle). Cracks to bands in handle.
