Adeline Thompson oil on canvas in carved Baroque style gilt frame. 1909. Genre scene of girls carrying flower baskets by a canal. Signed "Adeline Thompson 1909" lower left. "G. Rowney and Co. London" stamped on verso. Heavy wear, losses, and dirt throughout gilt frame, white paint on upper left of frame. Canvas is offset lower right. Tears to upper right and center left, vertical loss and wear in center. Losses to paint lower left around signature.
