Lot 63:
Chinoiserie lacquered pedestal desk and chair. Late 19th/early 20th Century. Pedestal form desk, glass top, heavily decorated mother-of-pearl inlay and painted decorations of birds, foliage and Chinese writing, brass square form drawer pulls, three drawers, storage with one shelf on either pedestal, curving bracket feet. Lacquered chair with mother-of-pearl inlay. Chips and losses to lacquer and inlay throughout desk, on edges of pedestals and to main drawer. Wear and light scratches to glass. Wear throughout chair, losses to mother-of-pearl, loss to lacquer on back left foot.
