Lot 95:
Two letters from Judge Garvin to his daughter Caroline giving her signatures for her "book of signatures of distinguished people". The first letter and envelope has a letter from Herbert Putnam the longest serving Librarian of the Library of Congress to Judge Garvin. The second letter has with it a letter from Fiorello La Guardia to Judge Garvin appointing him to the Brooklyn Library Board. Also included are two letters from Herbert H. Lehman the 45th Governor of New York on New York State letterhead to Judge Garvin. An invitation for the New York State Democratic Delegation and Governor Herbert Lehman to an address on Inauguration day 1937. From the estate of Judge Edwin L. Garvin.
