After Toshusai Sharaku (Japan, 18th century). Set of 4 prints portraits of kabuki actors. The Actors Segawa Tomisaburo II and Nakamura Manyo, Matsumoto Yonesaburo as Kewaizaka no Shosho in the Play Katakiuchi Noriyaibanashi, Actor Ichikawa Ebizo as Takemura Sadanoshin, The Onnagata Actor Iwai Hanshiro. Each approximately 9" x 13 1/2" (with frames 19" x 13 3/4").Segawa Tomisaburo II and Nakamura Manyo print discoloration lower right and lower center, crease in hand lower center; spots in hair on Iwai Hanshiro.
