Anthony Trollope (England, 1815-1882). Can You Forgive Her?, in 2 volumes, with illustrations. First edition, 1864-1865. Publisher Chapman and Hall, 193 Piccadilly, London; printed by W. Clowes and Sons, Stamford Street and Charing Cross, London. Marbled boards with red leather spine and corners. James Maxwell stamp to front endpapers. 5 5/8" x 7 7/8".
Wear to leather on spines and corners, wear to front and back boards, shelf wear, wear to edges at top and corners, notations in pencil on flyleaf, some foxing throughout, separation at front and rear pastedowns, bottom section of leather missing from spine on volume II, front endpaper detached volume I.
