Anthony Trollope (England, 1815-1882). The Last Chronicle of Barset, in 2 volumes. First edition, 1867. Smith, Elder and Co., London. Inscription in ink on front pastedown dated 1893. 2 pages advertising at rear of volume 2. 6" x 9".
Fraying and wear to edges and corners, wear to covers, cloth detached from spine volume 1, front and back boards and spine cloth all detached volume 2, bindings loose, some foxing.
Provenance: Bernard Quaritch, 1970; private collection, New York City; thence by descent.
